What all does an ultrasound show?

I had abdominal pains a couple weeks ago, so I went to the hospital. First, the doctor thought it might just be a pulled muscle in my chest area. Then she looked at my blood test and my mono blood was a little high, so she thought I might have mono. But she did a second blood test, and apparently it's not mono. I had an ultrasound done a couple days ago, just to make sure everything was okay, and I just got a call today and she said my ultrasound was fine...meaning nothing seemed to be wrong inside me. It's been two weeks or more...and I still have pains in my stomach/chest region. She said if it doesn't go away in awhile, to see a doctor again.
Just wondering if there's still something wrong me? I'm slightly tired all the time...and my stomach still hurts. What type of things does an ultrasound show? Just curious if anyone knows anything about this. I'm prolly fine but I just want opinions..

In this case they were looking at your liver, spleen and stomach. If your mono titer was elevated see your doctor for a complete work up.

Just an off the wall guess, it's not indigestion is it? I pray everything is well.
