Pelvic Ultrasound.? |
Hey, i had a pelvic ultrasound yesterday. She did the external one first. Then she did the vaginal. She said it was up to me if i wanted to do it, but she said that there was something she wanted to look at closer. After the vaginal one, she said there was something that the head ultrasound person might want to look at. She didn't end up coming in. but what might she have seen. I did notice that she kept looking at this black spot. I think she measured it and it was like 4 cm. What might this be. I'm not too worried, but am just curious and hate having to wait for results. By the way I'm 18, thin, and was just diagnosed with PCOS because i havn't had my period in 5 months and my LH/FSH ratio was high. Thanks for the help she was most likely measuring a cyst but they will call you in a few days and let you know it might be a gas bubble. i had a pelvic one and there was this 3 cm gas bubble when you look from my feet and up. I had a radiation ultrasound and it was just like air. you know how you crack your knuckles, its like that but in your pelvis. its nothing so dont worry. She may have been looking at one of the cysts on your ovaries and was taking a measurement of it. I have PCOS also and mine was diagnosed with a vaginal ultrasound and the doctor used it to take measurements of the cysts and my ovaries also. I know you're probably a little worried, but there's no use stressing out about it. The technicians aren't supposed to say anything about what they see anyway. Leave it up to your doctor. |
