Dull Pain on Right - Ultrasound ?.? |
I went today for a ultrasound due to a dull pain on my right side and pelvic pressure. If the doctor specifies one side that needs investigating, the ultrasonographer will always take pictures of both sides to compare but take more of the affected side to give better detail. Very few people have textbook anatomy so what may look strange may be normal for that person if it occurs on both sides. I wouldnt worry about it sounds like a normal scanning method to me. If your doctor was really worried about it they would have called you as soon as they got the results rather than waiting until your appointment. Techs are not allowed to diagnose anything. That kind of sounds like what I went through just before my appendix ruptured. I'm not saying this to scare you,but that was my case. It may or not be appendicitis. |
