Can I join the army with ulcerative colitis? |
I have had ulcerative colitis for 5 years. The first year was terrible and I had to be hospitalised but after I started taking the right medication it became inactive. It's worth a try. |

There are a couple of groups on Yahoo that can help you meet others with the disease, and can help you with symptom... After removing the intestine initially he would face some problems. After one or two years he would get habituated. However its a point of no return. Once the intestine is removed there is no way h... First of all be patient. I have dealt with quite a few people with this problem. I work in the Medical profession. If she is having a flare up for this long, have you tried getting a second opinio... Sorry about this problem you are having!! My father too has this. Unfortunately, that is the most recommended by some doctors. If you seriously want to get rid of this problem it may be worth going... In my experience- also have UC, i cant really drink at all, esp with a flare up. I would say no tbh.... Quite often alcohol can make meds ineffective, is not worth weeks of pain! ... |
