Can I join the army with ulcerative colitis?

I have had ulcerative colitis for 5 years. The first year was terrible and I had to be hospitalised but after I started taking the right medication it became inactive.

It's worth a try.
I would imagine the Army is pretty desperate for people these days, so if your condition is stable, they might take you.
