I want to know if any body knows the natural cure for ulcerative colitis and which fruit and veg should uc eat |
Ulcerative colitis is a desease which is very cronic and person who suffers has to go through lot of sufferings.(inflammable bowl). Has to pass stool several times sometimes with blood and pus. If you find out let me know. Stress doesn't cause it but it can trigger an episode. the best thing for colon health is fiber. Oat bran, 100%whole wheat bread, because it keeps things moving and the stool doesn't linger to worsen the ulcers. I can eat vegetables but they have to be steamed, fruit bothers me. Like my MD says you have to try to figure out what foods aggravate it. sometimes a food will bother me and another time it won't. I can't eat any dairy. I'm out of work on disability for the third time due to my ulcerative colitis. The only medicines that worked had such awful side effects that new health problems were created. Good luck...I know how awful it can get. Ulcerative colitis effects the colon and food that cause trouble even to normal person should be avoided such as cabbage,onions and fatty foods.You should try out the different types of food and find out which food that disagree with you.There are no confirm types food that should be avoided. |

A small percent of u.c patients have significant food allergies. Also, you may be becoming anemic with all of that blood loss. A trip to the ER might help w... I have Crohns and have taken entocort. prendisone does work better but the Entocort has less bad sid effects.
