Has anyone had any experience treating Type II diabetes with vinegar?

Diabetes seems to have been effectively treated in some cases with the amazing lowering of blood sugar readings after consuming white vinegar.

I have tried the vinegar thing and it only severly upset my stomache try a shot of byetta it helps boost the effects of metformin lowers your sugar and cuts ur appetite down

It is not Vinegar - the best NATURAL control for Diabetes is Bitter Melon.

This vegetable is available in all Philipino markets. I think some Indian grocery shops also have this vegetable.

Wash the vegetable and eat it raw - about half the vegetable per day and check your sugar level after about 4 days - you will see the difference. Of course I must warn you that the taste of it is very unpleasant. Once you know that it is good for you you will come to like it.

I know a person who was injecting insulin daily stopped it after his wife started to crush the vegetable and made him to drink a half cup of this juice daily.

Of course you have to have it raw. Boiling it or cooking it and eating it will have no results.

If you get good results post it as a question in this section so that others will know the value of this vegetable.

It is apple cider vinegar, and this is because that ups the stomach acid which then helps to kill/control a yeast fungus (Candida) that resides in all of us, but can overgrow.

Yeast loves sugar, so has a tendency to overgrow in persons who have more in their bloodstream than they should. Yeast produces ethanol which is a fast acting carbohydrate.

My blood sugars went from 160 to 130 (morning fasting) when I got on a Candida Cleanse diet. I am still struggling with it.

For basic information on the systemic yeast syndrome, check out the link on the Welcome page of www.hufa.org.

I havent heard of vinegar treating type 2 diabetes. hahaha if it is true I already did that too. About bitter melon or we called it ampalaya here in the Philippines. It is green in color and having like wrinkles.

Anyways, dont depend on these foods. it can only help you maintain diabetes but it cant be treated because of that food.

How to maintain diabetes is really up to yourself.

1) Make sure you are taking your medications properly.
2) Check what you are eating; if you really crave for sweets; buy
sugarfree stuffs. If you don't want you can eat sweets but very
limited amount like a pinch just to satisfy your tongue.
3) Exercise for 30minutes everyday or every other day. More is
better but if you are just starting to do it first make it 10minutes
then increase.

What kind of foods do you usually eat? If you want to be on a striclty diet you can too. For me diets just make me more hungry so eat what u want but of course you have to know too if it will make your glucose or blood sugar high or not. There are foods that if you eat just for a bite your blood sugar will rise way high for diabetics.
