i know why you get type 2 diabetes butif untreated what could happen? and can thin people get it? im getting the test on thurs Yes thin people can get it. There are many complications if you leave your Diabetes untreated. Loss of eye sight is one. Nerve damage is another. Wounds won't heal therefor your at a higher risk of infections and loss of limbs. Heart problems. The list goes on and on, this is why it's important to treat your Diabetes as a serious disease. Learn as much as you can and be proactive in the treatment of it. This is very important, listen to your body, everyone different what may work for me may not work for you. Glad I helped in some way. Report It If untreated, a type 2 diabetic will develp hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) and eventually go into a coma. This is why treatment and glucose control is so important. Yes, thin people can have it . you can eventyually end up in a coma, lose toes, feet, legs, heal slower. Don't worry medicine diet and excersize will keep you safe. ;) |
