Diabetes type 1?

i have had diabetes type 1 since i was 13 i am now 36 and have had neuropaghy and have had ulcers in my left leg since i was 15 my right leg has now 5-6 blotches is this neuropaghy as well can any 1 give me advice on how to stop it spreding and how to look after my legs my toes and feet are ok

My uncle also had diabetes type 1. Sorry i can`t help you to stop it spreading. But avoid sugar, tea, coffee and cigarettes and eat slow releasing carbohydrates and slow releasing fruits to keep your blood sugar levels even. That is very important for a diabetic.
