Is it possible to cure diabetes type 2 naturally?

is it possible to cure diabetes type 2 naturally without prescribed medicine and is it possible to reverse it

I don't think you will ever cure it. However you can control it. I'm a bad example but I have controlled it. Good diet and exercise. Lose some weight. Lay off the beer! That was my problem. I did very well for a few years but I got into the wrong habits again. I was diagnosed type II about five years ago. I weighed close to three hundred pounds. My blood sugar was close to three seventy-five. I was put on a strict diet and oral medication. I started walking, working out and lost weight. I kept a good check on my sugar. I did so well on my diet that when I went for my four month check up, My doctor took me off of my medication. However, I fell back into some old bad habits, Not watching what I ate or drank and put myself back into this position again. I'll be back to where I need to be again. You've got to stick to it. The answer is yes. You can control it. You well never get away from it. But if you lead a healthier life style you can stay off the meds. See your Doctor. Don't miss your quarterly visits. See a nutritionist. Stay active. Lose weight. Good Luck!

Yes. You will still have to remain on the diet, but it is possible to be medication free, and not suffer any of the diseases that are caused by cell damage by diabetes.

maybe with excersice and healthy diet, and less sweet drinks, and plenty of fruit and water,

it can be controlled but not cured

I personally believe it is. Diabetes 2 is most often caused through bad diet and lack of sufficient exercise. Many have reversed their type 2 diabetes by correcting these factors. Check out this page http://www.treatandcure.com/diabetes/tre... for info on how to do this

As of yet, T2 can not be cured, but it can be controlled and even reversed in a sense. In order to do this, you MUST avoid carbs and sugars. You have to have some carbs, but keep them at a bare minimum....using only carbs from veggies. If you are overweight, lose it! That by itself will lower your bg numbers. Excersise is also a huge factor in good control for T2s. I have seen numbers drop 30 points or more just by 20 mins of aerobic excersise. Just don't get the false sense of being "cured" when you start seeing consistanly normal numbers. Eat a candy bar and see how your bg level reacts after an hour has passed! That will tell you that you are not cured!

No there's no cure for type 1 or type 2 Diabetes.

Once you have Diabetes (either type) you will always have it. There is no cure. You may be able to treat it quite fully though. Do this under the supervision and consent of your physician. As always, accurate timely testing is the best indicator of your progress. Be well.

Hi, I am a type 2 diabetic patient who has been suffering from the illness for more than 15 years.

In accordance to the specialist who takes care my illness, any patient who is suffering from diabetes for 10 years and above, it would not be any medication which can help the patient to improve on his diabetic condition, therefore she suggested me to inject with insulin. However, I turned down her suggestion and look for another alternative to help on my surviving.

In the meantime, I check on my blood sugar level once every morning before food. Daily, I am very careful on the food and sugar intake for myself, especially for rice and noodles. Other than doctor's prescribed medicines, I regularly take supplement which I am trusted for achieving the optimal health of myself.

Recently I went for a medical check up inclusive a blood test for my diabetes. In accordance to the doctor, it was an excellent health report for my existing health condition (There is a medical report to prove my words).

For your information, I did share my experience with my fellow colleagues who are suffering from same kind of illness and they all happy to see that their blood sugar level also being under controlled.

If you wish to have more sharing from me, please write an e-mail to singalion@hotmail.com. I am from Singapore who is happily to share.

Thank you!

Best regards,

It's not possible to cure type 2 diabetes, however it can sometimes be controlled with diet and exercise. If a person with type 2 is overweight and they lose to a healthy weight, they can sometimes "hold back the storm" by exercising and eating healthy. Even with diet and exercise, though, medications will eventually be needed. As the body ages, the pancreas will function less and less well. Still, I've heard of people putting off the inevitable for years with diet and exercise.

I'm a diabetic that is technically a type 2, but is insulin dependent. In my case my pancreas works off and on which causes me to be quite brittle. Every diabetic is different, but if you treat your body in a healthy way, you can minimize medications and complications.

Hope this helps!

Many Blessings,
Bridgit
