Type 1 Diabetes And Strengthening Immune System?

Since type 1 diabetes is a problem relating to an immune system problem, wouldn't taking something to strengthen the immune system be a bad idea?

There are MANY who do not understand that type 1 diabetes is caused by the immune system attacking the pancreas which destroys the beta cells, so YES it is a disease brought on by the immune system. I am not asking for advice on treating it, I already have that down.

Who told you the first part? That may not be the case that diabetes is an immune problem. The best advice is to take what the doctor says and not be diddling around with other stuff.
