I agree with you that the diagnosis (HH) is bizarre. I am 32 now. My children are 13 and 15. I am 5'10 and started puberty at 12 so I don't think Turner syndrome could be my diagnosis. My symptoms of hormone imbalance started after I had lost about 70 pounds in 6 months. Could it be idiopathic HH? I go to see the endocrinologist on August 21st to discuss treatment so no, I haven't started estrogen or GnRH therapy yet. Which one would be the most suitable to try first? What does the GnRH agonist therapy consist of?? Thank you. You are welcome. I hope it all works out.
Honestly, all GnRH agonist therapy is a horror, in my opinion. For example - look up Lupron+side effects and you will see what I mean. I would try the synthetic hormone therapies first and go from there.
Good luck! :) |
