What would cause a stigmata-like lesion on both palms and plantar areas?

This is a couple of years old, recurring, and is quite inconvenient. Primary doc says not tinea, dermo doc says not cancer, Hansen's, fungal, or bacterial. All tests negative. Podiatrist found traces of a fungus, minor infection, but no conclusive answer. Presupposing natural (not religious) causes, what could this be?????

Appearance is more like a shallow callus, with healthy tissue beneath, but tends to crack deeply along palmar lines and print patterns. I have had 3 physicals during this time with no blood disorders apparent.

I really do not know anything about skin disorders, or other medical information. Except for what I read about, or have had do deal with through my family and friends personal cases, I am at a loss. BUT, I am always curious to learn about anything & everything.

Is it like a subcutaneous hemorrhage? A stigmata sounds to me as if the skin isn't broke, unlike a wound or sore that is open, or even scabbed over.
Is it more like a 'hive' type of redness and the skin is only discolored? Or, is it different to that because the skin is broke?
I like the lady's comment above about the idea of it possibly involving "nerves". She may be onto something that could help you out. The other idea she had about checking the "white cell" (or even a complete BCC) may also give clues I hope.

After looking at a couple of things, would it resemble something called "Janeway lesions"? I read a little about that on a website. It spoke of Janeway lesions: non-tender, macular lesions most commonly involving the palms and soles. Just a thought...

Does the skin look like hives in size , or more of a larger size abrasion? Or, an open cut/type of wound, or an open sore?
This site has some information (but I do not know if it is something that can help): http://www.scientificexploration.org/jse...
Pg. 2 says: "Stigmata cannot be defined as wounds" & "they tend not to heal so they are not sores".
I will check back to look at any new answers that are posted later. You have got me curious...

Best Regards to you, and Merry Christmas to you and your family!

so i take it your white blood cell count was a-ok?
puzzling indeed...
have they checked into a nerve lesion? i'd guess it may be some kind of condition with a nerve...
