Thyroid quevenstion? |
I have a lump in my throat right below the adams apple. I went to the doctor and just had a ct scan but i won't have the results for a couple of days. im pretty sure i have hyperthyroidism. i don't gain weight. always hyper and even when tired im my body is always moving. recently i have developed a funguai infection on my face neck and back. dr. said it was a form of tinea and never said if thyroid can cause tinea or forms of it. I hve read online and know it does all kinds of things to your body, but can it cause tines, if that is what it is, the doctor did not do any tests and didn't seem to worried about it. I don't think the tinea could be caused by hyperthyroidism. It is a fungus that is spread by animals or other humans. While you are waiting for your scan test results on your thyroid, please look at the following web sites. I have hypothyroidism and both hyper and hypo can cause graves disease. I have graves diseas and it has affected my eyes. The web sites below will describe both the hyper and hypo thyroid symotoms and treatments: |
