Throat cancer?!? |
Im 16, and a non smoker and ive got problems with my throat. I always seem to get something wrong with my throat all the dam time and its starting to piss me off! For example, about once a month i get tonsiltus, which is suchhh a pain! right now however i have what feels like a lump in the lower part of my throat, i think its around my larnx or summin, anyway its a lump feeling and when i swallow if feels very dry, could this be because ive been sleeping with the windows open? Im also experiencing a bit of indigestion i think..i duno really its kinda heartburn and indigestion butr sorta in my chest, around my armpit which i think is swollen? so what dya think? I read all of your various health related questions. First off - you do not have throat cancer. You would need to be at least age 30 and a heavy smoker to have true throat cancer. You say you have asthma and tonsillitis. You probably also have chronic sinusitis and probably some allergies. You might need your tonsils removed. Sinusitis or frequent tonsillitis can cause temporary swollen lymph nodes. As for the swelling in your pec - you are 16 and your hormones are still changing actively. Probably a temporary thing that will sort out over time. You have serious school tests coming up. This would cause worries in anyone who cares about their schoolwork. Focus on your tests and make an appt. with your family physician for a week after your tests finish. Ask the Dr to check you over and mention your various health concerns. Let him do whatever testing he thinks is appropriate. Ask if you need to see an ear, nose and throat Dr or asthma specialist. Ask if you might have chronic sinusitis. Your heartburn is probably related to stress. 16 is a very stressful age. Ask the Dr about whether your heartburn needs drug treatment. In the meantime, don't worry about throat cancer, get lots of rest and do the best you can on your tests. Good grades will help resolve your stress and then maybe you can relax a bit. good luck not meant to be a short answer but get your butt to a doctor, it really sounds like acid reflux with the indigestion but the chest and armpit is strange go to a doctor Lumps in your throat and armpit could be swollen lymph nodes, which could indicate a lasting infection of some sort, or a number of other conditions. You should see a doctor soon. i have an underactive thyroid which is a gland in the throat that isnt working properly it slows down your metabolism so you feel tired alot? there are many other symptoms and i have only recently found out you should have a blood test...it doest hurt & worth finding out about. you will live, might have to get some surgery to fix that though but yeah its ok. Iu r so fine and dont worry |
