Vitamin B1 as insect repellant? |
I heard recently that taking vitamin B1 (thiamine) will repel insects. Apparently, your body needs some thiamine, and any excess is discharged through urine, but also through your breath and sweat. These latter two are what repel the insects. I looked online and saw that they make a thiamine patch that you stick on, and in 2 hours it'll be in your system and you can repel bugs for up to 36 hours. i did, it works Eating raw onions works.... |
