Testicular cancer help!!? |
ok well I have this third lump or ball thing in near my left testical... I have had it for several years and I have always wondered what it was... I then noticed my left testicul is bigger than my right... but what I was wondering was if I had this lump or ball thing for so long shouldn鈥檛 of I had some other thing go wrong. I have had it for at least 3 years; I am 20 years old also I wanted to know how fast dose testicular cancer spread? And for thoughs who have had testicular cancer how did you find out? Its quite normal to have a few small lumps or bumps, especially if they've been there a while, and one testicle usually appears a little larger than the other but don't hesitate in getting it seen to if you have any concerns. You are the right age for testicular cancer but please don't panic as it's more likely to be something much more common. Also, i know going to see a doctor about something like this can seem dreadful but please remember we see these kinds of things all the time and we'd much rather put your mind at rest than have to continue worrying. all cancers spread at different rates, but you may not have cancer it may be a non cancerios tumor or a cyst. go to a uroligst and have them check it out because if it is cancer you chould have it removed or it may kill you Have it checked out. It could be a number of things, even a hernia. if it was cancer, your testicular would have gotten bigger, about double the size than the other, in about a week. it spreads very fast. thats the test that men should do every month. I think you're too young to have testicular cancer. Usually it occurs in men in their 50's. But, you still should have it checked out. It's probably something like hydrocil, or a hernia. please excuse the spelling. Hydrocil in itself is not dangerous but could lead to other problems so go see a doc asap. I am 53 and had the same thing at your age. I went to the urologist and had it checked out. In all likelihood it is a "pocket" of either water or of little wigglers (ie a "hydrocele" or a "spermatocele", and it may be the result of a minor injury. You should probably go see a urologist to be on the safe side, but if it was cancer you probably wouldn't be here (after three years of ignoring it) asking the question! |
