Testicular cancer symptoms?

Ok, so the bottom of my left testicle has been a little sore lately.
My being the paranoid freak that I am, examined myself to try and find any lumps.

The only thing I can feel is on the bottom of the testicle, but it feels like the tube that is supposed to be there. If I move it around with my fingers, it feels very much like a tube, not a lump, yet it is a little bit sore to the touch.

The sides and the top/front of the testicle feel fine, so it must just be the tube that connects to the bottom of the testicle.

The thing is, is there anything that could cause that area to be sore? I do masturbate quite frequently, and I have sexual intercourse with my girlfriend once in a while. Usually though, it's only foreplay/oral, and I don't actually ejaculate.

Could a build up of fluid/frequent masturbation make it sore?
Do testicular cancer lumps even hurt if you touch them?

Thank you.

Hi there.
Judging from what you describe, it does not seem to be cancer.
Per se, cancer is never painful. Only when it expands any sensitive organ , it causes pain. If a lump is painful, almost always it is not cancer.
Symptoms of testicular cancer vary. Lump would be the obvious one, but ofter Little late. Perceptible and visible difference between the 2 testicles, any lumps in the groin-folds, weight loss- these would be the first symptoms.

That soreness, i guess is new one. A little trauma of which you are unaware may be the reason. The tubes or the vas, may get sore due to compression of tight underclothes or jeans.
Warm bottle or towel should do fine in such condition.
However, if you are feeling pain, redness - for more than 2-3 days, I suggest you consult a doctor. It might be a slow strangulation-turning of testicle on its own axis. If this is the case, it will cause considerable trouble in near future but can be easily reversed by a doctor in few minutes.
Don't worry. Make a good decision and all will be fine.

Its probably nothing but it might be worth going to the doctors just to get it checked out. It wouldn't be a build up of fluid from masturbation, that doesn't really happen.

Have you noticed the sore area change in size or shape over a period of time. Thats generally what to look for when feeling for cancerous lumps. Not so much the fact that there are lumps and bumps (there is usually many) but looking for any that may be changing over time.

Testicular cancer lumps can be painful and tender to touch in certain positions, but can also be quite painless and just feel like muscle/cartilage tissue. So if in doubt, get it checked out.

Um... I can't see it from here. Go see your doctor.

Sometimes my balls hurt like that and just because i slept on them in the wrong way.
