I keep having panic attacks? |
i have panic attacks or get light headed. when i think about death and i worry when i travel on public transport because i keep thinking there is gona be a terrorist attack. because of these terrorist attack in my head its gona happen again wich it prob will and im gona be on that train or bus. im thinking of joining the army so i can helop and stop the terrorist from doing it. panic attacks are realy awfull i have had them for 10 years now i are like you i go realy light headed and feel unsafe cant move well dare not move as so light headed .but i have had lots of different tablets and i are telling you they do work but no good for you as sometimes after a while make you worse.try to do day at a time when you go on a bus dont think about terrorist if you can .then when you get off think well i are safe none got on .do that day by day and try not to think about death .you have got to do it slowly step by step thats what i was told to do by a sycologist and it realy works for me i are a lot better now .if you need to. see you gp and ask him to refer you to see one.i wish you well .your not going to die or get on a bus with terrorist believe me.anne x x x I suffered from extreme panic attacks for 2 years and I finally talked to my doctor, and now I am on Zoloft and I haven't had a panic attack since. Good Luck they are Horrible! The army wont take you if you have panic attacks so the best thing to do now is to get to your doc and get it sorted out. The Army doesn't need anyone who can't handle riding the subway, no offense. Panic attacks can be dangerous, especially if you pass out. Please get do a doc asap. I am not a fan of psychotropic drugs, but they might be a short term solution while you learn to deal w/ the attacks in therapy. panic attacks can get worse please see a doctor. Your family doctor can help if you don't have a shrink. I would suggest you work with an alternative medicine doctor rather than taking pills; much better for your health in the long run. speaking from experience i think that CBT is the best form of therapy for any anxiety based issues.Give it a shot... u wont be dissapointed. i too suffered with panic attacks it was a living nightmare i would get one after the other they became uncontrollable but eventually they did go away due to my change of lifestyle (a divorce with my husband who was a bully) i didn't need any drugs as they actually made me worse, i just rode the storm. No wonder you are having panic attacks if you are living your life in fear. If you ruin your life through fear of terrorism then they have already won. They only do these attacks so people will fear them. joining the army wont stop your panic attacks..........facing your fears might open the door go out and you will be safe |
