I've had tension headache mostly on the left side of my head.? |
What's the best way to remedy tension headache and what are the usual causes. I was at the physical therapist and he found a bad knot in my shoulder muscle and he said that muscle spazms could have caused it. I told him that my muscles twitch sometimes in my arm or leg. I was thinking maybe the tension headache caused the muscle twitch. Please help. Thanks. The tension headache is most likely caused by the tight muscles. Ask your physical therapist if they offer massage therapy - if not go to a massage therapist to work on that knot. It could take some time to break it up. Before the pain, did u see obstructions in ur vision? Like only parts of what ur looking at or "stars"? And are ur eyes sensitive to light? If so, it could be migraine, not tension headache. Migraine pain is mainly on only one side of the head. There is a way to ease it. Find someone who will rub that knot in ur shoulder, it will hurt like hell, but if u hang in there, the pain in ur head should subside. In the mean time take some pain medication and lie down in a darkened room. Ask them to rub the knot hard with the balls of the thumb. I don't know what causes the twitching in ur limbs but it could be nerve damage. |
