Tennis elbow (Manual Therapy hurts)? |
I am going through Manual Therapy (Tennis Elbow) currently. It hurts during and after the therapy. The Physiotherapist said it is ok and common. Any physiotherapist out there have the same comment? If it hurts the tendon is being agrivated which is not good. The goal of physical therapy is to improve range of motion and strengthen the surrounding muscles without increasing pain. You may need injections to help with pain and of course ice to help decrease the inflammation. A brace would also help as it prevents the tendon from rolling which is causing the problem. |
