Tennis Elbow - anyone have any ideas how to deal with pain?

Apart from cortizone or steroid injections, ibuprofen gel etc., anyone else got any ideas to relieve the pain, would love to hear from anyone who has suffered from tennis elbow and how you coped etc., thank you

the sufferer has seen the doctor who suggested the injections etc., was hoping for alternative pain relief to that already suggested. the sufferer is not a tennis or golf player, tennis elbow is the umbrella name for the condition.

I had this problem for several years. Steriod injections helped (only very temporarily), pain killers became useless after a while. Eventually, the orthopaedic surgeon had to make a small incision (surgery) at the elbow and that solved the problem about 10 years ago. Am still ok now, altho he did warn me this problem could recur ... well, my fingers are crossed !

If you play tennis - Get a proper sized racket.
If you play golf - Get a lighter club and/or shorter/longer.

My fiance has just been diagnosed with the same thing and also hasn't ever played tennis, he's had a broken neck though, but can walk now and his left side is weak from nerve damage, this is the arm that its in, he lifts weights but apparently to heavy. The doctor has given him a muscle relaxant, called Endep 50mg, that helps enormously, but also to do small weights and also use a tea towel or hand towel, twirl it tight then let your arms fight against each other, also give them some rest and dont lift anything too heavy, Goodluck to you!!!

My uncle used Nikken products and had a lot of success. At night, he wore an elbow wrap with magnets tucked inside. He also used the CM cream and their far-infrared technology. Contact me if you'd like details on these products.

Also, I am currently doing my graduate research on treating tennis elbow with low-level laser (sometimes called "cold laser") or LLT. This may be an option for you if you go to a certified Hand Therapist for therapy.

My literature review has shown steroid injections are the most effective treatment in the short term, but that with this route, the problem almost always returns.

Therapy is not as effective initially, but with continued participation, therapy has shown to produce the more permanent results.

pls try using acv (apple cider vinegar)
i do not know whether it helps, but is the cheapest and effective way to cure a lot of sickness and decease, and pls buy a book to read how this ACV works wonder from inside and out, you don't have to believe me, pls go online and find some answer, just search ACV....
i would really want to share this with everyone .
