I have tendinitis and a clicking on the outside of my knee. What exercises can I do? |
I got a new pair of shoes to improve my running performance Problem is, I had high stability shoes when I needed no stability. This lasted for almost 2 months and my knees started to really hurt. I've had one reconstructive knee surgery (ACL) and now the same knee has a clicking on the outside of the knee. The pain was so bad after a long run that I would have trouble walking. Thank you for asking us at Yahoo but I would suggest you to consult an orthopaedic doctor. im not sure about shoes...but there are stretches for this. if you stand on a stair, facing upwards (upstairs) and stand with your heels of the edge and down, it should stretch your calf muscles, which will help relieve some pressure on your tendons. make sure you do a TON of stretches for both your calves and thighs, because the muscles are connected to the tendons, and it WILL help! also, you could talk to your doctor for good shoe recommendations. |
