Carpal Tunnel, tendinitis and trigger finger pain management? |
RecentIy I have been is constent pain. I had surgury last year (10/05) to correct the carpal tunnel. I have found that the more active I am. The more pain I am in. I had to start sleeping in my brace again after six months. The tendinitis and trigger finger wake me up every night. What is an alternative method to manage my pain? Right now I take 200 mgs of Celebrex twice a day? Serious Answers only please. When mine flares up, I put my arms down by my side. Face palm forward. Relax. It will put the nerve out of the tunnel. My mama told me to use it and it works! I've had similar problems and I see an accupunturist. I love the fact that I am not pumping myself full of chemicals. you should see an occupational therapist or a certified hand therapist as soon as possible. these are people who can tell you how to prevent and manage pain using techniques other than drugs, based on your daily activities. they can also provide proper training as well as an appropriate brace or splint. good luck! |
