Guitarists and tendinitis? |
I've just started to learn how to play the guitar. My picking tecnique must be wrong because the area from my right wrist to my elbow on the bottom side of my arm often hurts, even when I'm not playing. With my lessons and practice I play for about an hour each day. Can anyone tell me how I should, or should not, be picking? My guitar teacher tried to explain but I still think I'm doing something wrong. I really don't want to end up with tendinitis. Like you said, you just learnt to play the guitar. I believe its aching because its building muscle tissue(like every other tissue does). Continue your method of picking and the pain might go away because your muscles can take the workout. wear a leather wristband like zack wylde does. if you don't know who he is then look at the guitares of ozzy or black lable society. |
