What could cause the left side of my head above the ear to spasm?

In my profession, I spend a great deal of time (bwt. 1200 and 1600 min/month) on my cell phone. For the last two months, there has been a twitch/spasm about an inch above my left ear. Upon calling my MD, she ordered a SED rate which was 5 (apparently ruling out temporal arteritis). It is worse sitting than standing in terms of frequency. I typically have very low BP. Is this muscular/vascular or internally driven or perhaps sinuses/dental? Anyone experience this and get treated? Thanks for any helpful input.

Get it checked out, there could be something happening there!.....
