How do you get help/support for your best Friend's drinking problem.? |
We've been frinds since we were very young but she had a difficult child/teenage upbringing. She's a good person and wants to stop but she's only been able to do it for short periods of time. Try AA. http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/?Med... AA-Alcoholics Anonymous for your friend and you can go to Al-Anon which is a support group for friends and family members of an alcoholic. Even if your friend does not want to get help you can still go to Al-Anon. I would call your local group, there should be one in a neighboring town or city. Good luck! well if you have tried talking to her and telling her that you think that she has a drinking problem? IF you have tried that well I have to say go to the computer and looking up where you can take her for a drinking problem. That is all I can help you and I hope you find what you are looking for. I agree - Alcoholics Anonymous and all their affiliate groups - is the way to go. You can get help there and it may, or may not, help your friend. |
