Is it ok if I dont eat dinner? Im just not really hungry at night and I like geting up and having a flat tummy


Just like the subject title says, is it ok if I dont eat dinner? Im usually not hungry and I sleep better if I dont becuase my stomach is not all grumbly when I sleep. When I wake up also, its nice to have a super flat stomach from not eating the night before... my hip bones stick out in the morning, and I love the feeling of being skinny. Also, for breakfast, is it ok if I just drink some EAS protein shake powder and water? It fills me up and its low carb and low carb.

Also, I am a teenage female in highschool just to give you some info.

I am 5'6" and I weigh 132 pounds but im trying to lose about 15 pounds, any recommendations?

I am in good shape. I participate in sports and I run a lot, but I am not skinny by any means. I eat like A LOT!!!!! I just recently havent been hungry for dinner or breakfast. I eat a lot at lunch though. I kinda snack throughout the afternoon. Sooooo. I am not skinny, and my hip bones only stick out if I dont eat dinner. I dont have an eating disorder, I just havent been hungry, and I need to drop about 10 pounds.

It is fine to not eat dinner if you are not hungry, but it is important for you to get enough calories during the day. If you prefer, eat a snack in between breakfast and lunch, and then another snack a little later in the day. You need to do this to maintain good health. I don't think you need to lose weight and having your bones stick out is not attractive. Boys do not like when girls get too thin and their bones all show and stick out. You should have more than just a protein shake in the morning.

If you are not eating because you like that flat tummy, skipping dinner is not a good idea. It can lead right into an eating disorder. Skipping dinner and then having protein powder for breakfast is not giving your body the nutrition it needs. Please take care of yourself.

it is okay if u skip dinner when ur not hungry but hip bones sticking out? i dont think its good.u can eat and be skinny if u exercise

not eating isnt really THE best way to loose weight
exercise and a healthy diet is key!

if you're not hungry & just dont want to eat dinner, then dont force yourself to eat, but make sure you get all you vitamins and nutrients during the day (with breakfast & lunch)

Trying to lose 15 pounds when your hip bones are already sticking out??! Why? Sound like you have an eating disorder or you are vain. Seeing as you said you are in high school you obviously know that it is not ok to not eat dinner.If you dont know that then, You can eat dinner several hours before you go to bed and give your body time to digest the food. Someone should recommend to your school that they teach Health Class to High School students because I learned all about what to eat and when to eat and all that in High School Health Class.
