Am I healthy??? |
I am a teenage girl. I am a vegetarian...for breakfast I eat a bowl of Special K cereal with skim milk, after that I run a mile and do crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, and push ups. for lunch I usually have a veggie sandwich. for dinner I usually have two tacos with black beans and cheese and salsa (on soft corn tortillas). All I drink is water with my meals. My only snack the whole day is a nonfat iced tall caramel macciato at Starbucks which is 140 calories and about a cup of fresh blue berries. I have not had a soda or sweet tea in a year. Am I healthy? what else can I do to be healthier? um, no you're not healthy. you are undereating and it sounds like you're anorexic. you should be consuming at least 1500 calories a day if you don't exercise and more if you do. at this rate, it sounds like you're eat like way less and if you're working out this much, you need to be eating some more lean proteins (like nuts, peanut butter and avocados), otherwise you'll be digesting your own muscle! that is the worst thing b/c then you will feel weak and get sick. ughh what do u think? HEALTHY DURR! that looks pretty healthy. I mean, you might want to eat a little more "good fats" like almonds or something. Maybe encorporate a little more protein. But i think it looks pretty decent eat tofu to get the proteins you need number 1 you dont excise after eating ok you do it befor an you want to eat some red meat because it give you your iron on an all depends if your the right weight for your frame go an see your doctor ok Do you feel healthy? it's a question only you can answer. It sounds to me like you lead a healthy lifestyle, although I personally couldn't stand eating the same things every single day. The only thing I can suggest is maybe eating organic? then you're not getting any pesticides or wierd chemicals in your food. and make sure you're eating a rainbow, a veggie sandwich sounds good but if it's all green you aren't getting all the nutrients you need. you didn't say what kind of bread you use so if you don't already whole wheat or multigrain is a great choice. and maybe add some fruit or nuts to your breakfeast. um go see a doctor sweetie, you need to eat more.. |
