What could this be???

I'm 13. I get bored really easily, and I get depressed even easier. I've cut myself several times out of being depressed, and even more odd, I drank the blood. I can't stand smiling in public, and I detest it when strangers smile and wave at me. I have no close friends because I fear letting someone get THAT close to me. I sometimes feel like the world around me has collapsed, and that nobody honestly cares about me. What could be wrong? And please try to avoid simply ruling it out as teenage problems; I only turned 13 3 months ago.

Hey sweetie I know what your going through I am 35 and believe it or not I remember being your age, it is hard begining your teenage years and yes I believe talking to even the school councler would benefit you, but please find someone you can trust and let them help you, Please?
Also hon, sounds like you had a trauma happen if it did and you know what I'm talking about please seek help soon? Also You Need A big Hug My family and I send it to you now.

talk to a school pshycologist.. you have depression...alot of people have it

It sounds like you have clinical depression and you should talk to your parents or a school counselor about therapy or medication. It is usually just a chemical imbalance that can be easily taken care of. There is nothing wrong with you, just talk to someone that can give you the right resources for taking care of yourself.

You really really need a professional counselor you can talk to face to face. Is there anyone in your area where you live you can make an appt with? Do you feel comfortable talking to your parents about it, to have them take you? There is medicine that can help, and a professional would know exactly what to prescribe for you to help. It isn't your fault.

You may have a chemical imbalance. Please talk to your parents & go see your Doctor!!!

It is okay that your depressed, but you need help, talk to your parents or a school teacher someone you can trust that will get you the help you need. It is really hard to be a teenager now, just remember that it is no ones fault that your depressed these things just happen.

It might be you have a depression disorder. Try talking to your doctor and having him or her prescribe some anti-depression medication. Also you can go see a psychiatrist they can really help.

this is most definately not 'teenage problems'. you sound quite articulate for someone thats just turned 13. anyway talk to your parent, teacher, doctor, favourite aunt, whoever. just tell someone and they will hep you because you do need help.

ok. im 13 too. first of all, you HAVE to stop cutting yourself. its not healthy. and one day u might have to go to the hospital and then your parents will find out and everyone arounf you. drinking the blood can cause stomach problems. and if all of this is because something happened in you past, then try to work it out, or just TRY talking to somebody. and its okay to not be super-hyper all the time. but its not good to be super-depressed all the time either.

You are depressed, call it hormones, chemical imbalance, whatever. Its medical and if it is starting to rule you its best to get help soon.

I work in the mental health field. You need a through psychological work up now. I can think of several things that could be wrong with you. You could be bi-polar. You could be clinically depressed. You could have a personality disorder.

Please, Please seek help. The earlier these things are treated the better. It will take a trained specialist to help you discover what the problem is. It will take time also. Please get help quickly.

a lot of kids go through this phase; talk to someone and open up a little, try to find something that makes you happy, but I highy recommend to talk to a psychologist, they help all kinds of people.

Try Something New For A Change.

sounds to me like you are depressed. you should seak out help, and know its okay to admit that you need this help it is the first step in the problem. I speak from experience,i got really bad off last year and ended up repressing everything and almost lost myself to it. I'd hate to see someone as young as you lose yourself to it too, please talk to your parents or a close relative about this. If you are unable to talk to someone in your family, please see your school counselor, before its too late. You have a future ahead of yourself and cutting yourself is never the best solution, sometimes just having someone to talk to and vent out your frustration and angr to can help a great deal. dont do this for them, do it for yourself.

e-mail me and we can talk later i have the same problem ............

You need to talk to a counselor/therapist. A psychiatrist may insist you take medication. Cutting your self is self-mutilation .... some people do it to take the real pain away. It's just a temporary fix.

It's best to seek help for what's bothering you or just to talk to someone you trust. Get it taken care of while you're still young.

It could be many different things. But you have to remember your body is changing alot inside and out right now. For most it makes you feel uncomfortable in your own skin for a while. Don't rule out physical changes affecting you emotionally. I do think you need to let your parents know what is going on with you. YOu shouldn't deal with this all by yourself.

depression is a seriously illness. if you are feeling this way.. try talking to your parents or yours older sister brother if you have one. if that doesn't work talk to someone that you feel most close to you like grandparents or close friends.. or school counselor. please try to talk to someone.. your life is to precious to be taken like that.

By the looks of your former questions you really need to talk to your parents or a teacher that you like. Please do this a.s.a.p Alot of people care, i do.

Ok kid, first you need to make friends and keep yourself busy. Play or read something. Talk to your parents and have them consult a counselor.

I don't know where you are, but in England we have a phone number that you can call. They're called the Samaritans.
If not call directory inquiries ask for a similar help line. There are people out there who understand & can help. Nobody will critisize or or laugh.
Don't worry, this is quite common in teens, you're not alone & it's easier to talk in person to a stanger than a family member.
But PLEASE talk to someone.

oh honey, u are not alone. i have been there done that still suck my owies at times. there is a root, a problem no one will understand or so u think. i had horrible childhood hundreds of moms boyfriends(well alot) moved a lot went to 14 schools i was raped by one of my dads friends at 14 the cutting helped the pain or so i thought. i had no self esteem, no friends, my mom worked all the time and very emotionally closed off. so i was on my own. u have to find someone to talk too! anyone they have to 1. Listen 2> Understand! You are cared about very much baby! i have an 11 yr. old and i am always trying to as honest and open with her as i can. You have to suck up some of the bad but also remember what doesn't break ya makes ya stronger hand in there and find somneone to talk to somebody will understand!!!!!

I most definitely think you should see your doctor about getting on some anti-depressants. I went through the same thing, but around 19 yrs old, Counseling didn't help much, but the pills took the edge off, and it helps to try and meet new and interesting people to get your mind off of yourself and your own problems. Focusing on a bad past, can bring about disastrous results, I find it helps to write your feelings out on paper and keep a journal also.

Depression is a serious problem because it could lead to suicide. Talk to your school counselors and explain to them that you suffer from depression and you don't know what to do about it.

I take medication for depression because I have a chemical imbalance. I take Wellbutrin and Zoloft. These have to be prescribed by a doctor.

Perhaps you could go to your family doctor instead of a psychiatrist. He may then refer you to a psychiatrist who can prescribe you some medication or your family doctor can prescribe Wellbutrin.

There really isn't anything else that I did to try to stop the depression that worked except medication. I tried jogging, exercise, walking, biking, etc. and nothing helped.

Please give that a try and I hope soon you will begin to feel better. I know that depression can be very painful.....)(

talk to an adult, someone you trust. please believe me it isnt as strange as you might think to feel this way. many people feel the way you feel now and they get better (personal experience). Growing up is hard and sometimes scarey and the best way to deal with it is to make connections with people.having a friend can make you feel less alone.please tell someone how you feel. i wish you well.

My mother has a cutting disorder, your symptoms sound so much like her. There is help out there! My mother had to go into a mental hospital setting for 30 days, don't be scared of that idea, she got medications and regular therapy.
When she came home she stayed on her medicine and sees a therapist regularly. She hasn't cut herself in over 2 years, her life is back to normal.
Please ask for help from a trusted adult that can get you the help you need.
There is hope, smile!!

I think you know the causes of all what you have! you know why you are sad, why you don't have close freinds and why do you feel depressed!
if you want to fix things really you should start by your self!
make a table, write the things that you want and the things that you don't want and then see what are things that you cant do... you can ask help from your parents.... just run after the thing you want and then every thing will be good just do it!
please don't drink your blood because that may cause you some diseases!!

Oh, babe. You need to talk with someone. Depression is serious. You are so young, you shouldn't be sad like this all the time, and you shouldn't be cutting yourself. Please, please open up to someone.

This site may really help you........If nothing else,it will keep you from getting bored.

http://www.gotquestions.org

first you should stop watching TV and stop listen to hard and metal songs ... this is things upsets persons really . try to listen soft songs ... fast and do not drink liquids when the moon is complete .... and try to learn more about Islam because its comforts the mind and rise self confidence

You are loved more than you could possibly realize. You are loved more than you could ever love anyone. You can get past this depression.

People of all ages go through spiritual warfare. I do, my children do, you are now, even Jesus suffered temptations from the devil. Satan is constantly whispering in your ear, telling you how much people hate you. Telling you not to trust them, and that they will let you down. He tells you that they are smiling at your face, but talking about you behind your back. He is trying to get you comfortable with the idea of cutting yourself, in hopes that one day you will cut deeply enough to end your life, before you get saved by Jesus.

At 13, you are accountable for your own actions, that is why the devil attacks many young teens. He knows that if they kill themselves and they are not saved, they will go to hell.

Jesus does not care about your sins, He only cares that you ask forgiveness for your sins. You don't have to go to church or to a pastor to do this. You can do it alone right now. Just say, "Jesus, please forgive me for my sins. Please come into my heart." You may feel differently when you do it, it may take a few months before you notice a change. But the important thing is that no matter what happens to you, after you pray to Jesus, you will be with Him when you die.

When you do get saved, try to find a good, Bible believing church. Most important, don't ever put your faith in another person or a pastor, they will let you down. Only put your faith in God.

With love in Christ, and God Bless you with salvation.

Feel free to send me a message.
