Why is proper nutrition important in teens???

why is it important to one's body and mind???

It's not just teens. It's everyone. Proper nutrition is vital to everyone's physical and, perhaps more importantly, mental health. Having come back from severe depression, I know a little about this. It took months of painstaking therapy combined with good nutrition and exercise to overcome it. Your mind and body depend on proper nutrients in order to function at optimum levels. It also minimizes disease by strengthening your immune system. Read more here: http://www.chetday.com

Teens are still growing. It only makes sense for them to get the proper nutrition that their bodies need.

Because your bodies are growing and your mind is still developing. You are what you eat. If you eat junk, truly your body will be junk. If you eat well, you will feel well, think well, learn well, etc.

Eat a lot of fruits,... such bananas, pineapple,..etc and also durian... :D

Teens burn up a lot of energy. They put a lot of pressure on their bones, so they need calcium. They need nutrients--especially fresh leafy vegetables and protein so that they can grow healthy.
Boaz.

because teens burn off so much energy in their daily activities and your body needs to be replenished.

teens are at a stage when their body is growing continuosly. whatever you eat shows on your skin and body. if you wil eat junk then you`ll look like a junk itself. in addition teen girls have a tendency to get fat rapidly . if u want to avoid that then it is better to stick to nutritious food.at this stage if you need good output then you need to put best possible input.all the best
