Protein??? |
17/male/140lbs looking to gain mass.. I've decided to start using whey protein, but i am not too sure of the different types or brands, etc. While researching, i've realized that there are 3 types: concentrate, isolate and hydrolysate. Which one is best suited for a teen looking to gain mass? Ok basically concentrate whey protein is about 70-80% whey protein along with some growth factors, lactose, and fat. Since it's lower in protein % people assume it's a lot worse because it has less protein per gram than isolate. However it contain several growth factors but they have not yet been determined whether they actually help or no. |
