Are there any 24-hour mental health crisis lines???

i have tried googling this and all i get is a jumble back....most of the lines that i found are for suicide prevention, teens or the wrong area. my boyfriend is neither of those but he needs someone to talk to. national numbers would be preferred!!!!

we live in a rural community and are not able to get a hold of a person at the county health clinic, he has no insurance right now and besides me he doesn't have anyone that he can really talk to and i am not qualified to help him with what is bothering him.

Is he still on his parents insurance? If so, they have people on staff that specialize in this.

The only ones I've found are suicide prevention lifelines.

Sorry. Though, are you sure he wants to talk to some stranger on the phone? He would probably be more comfortable with talking to someone he trusts.

I just typed in my search bar "free 24 hour mental health crisis phone number" and a lot of sites came up. Why don't you try this and check out the sites so you can decide which one you boyfriend needs. Good Luck.
