People what to know why I think about Scientology so much Not a question here is the Answer?

I used to like Cruise as a teen. I thought he was cute. I had a personal struggle with mental illness treatment. I was affraid of the mental health system for many reason that were mostly caused by my own father. He told me that doctors and consellors were crazy from the time I was a child. He told me that we just needed to talk about our problems to our own family to get well. He said that doctors and counsellors were just trying to figure out how to cure themselves. Well my family got divorced and was not there for me and had it with me and my problems. I had to seek help. I was feeling suicidal and it was a struggle for me to accept and help. I got the wrong help at first and it took me years to get the right diagnosis and the correct medication.

If I heard a celebrity that I liked like Cruise bashing on the mental health system and medications in addition to my father I would probably be dead.

My father is dead because he killed himself due to his mental illness.

I boycott anything that pays money to a sceintologist because scientology hurt the mentally ill. I boycott Tom Curise because he will hurt people with his statements and they will die from his misinformation

Well I don't really understand Scientology either. I do take medication for anxiety disorders. Tom Cruise does not have a physician's degree and should not be dispensing advise on these types of issues.
I also disagree with other things such as not speaking to your baby for a week after it is born. That is insane. A baby needs to hear it's parents voice to have a connection with them.
You do what is best for you and don't listen to anyone who is not a doctor. I wish you all the luck!

I agree with you on many points. Celebrities like Cruise have to understand that many people give their opinions more weight than they're worth, and that the things they say and stand for carry far too much influence.

I wonder how Katie is doing following Suri's birth. What will he do if she suffers from PPD like so many women do? He can't "let" her see someone or take any drugs; he can't go back on his word in front of the entire country.
