Why does it sometimes take so long to heal from illness?

I'm 26, still relatively young and can't seem to bounce back from illness as well as I used to when I was a teen. Hell, I almost feel 50 the way I bounce back. Whenever I get sick now it always goes to my chest and always complicates, and I always end up getting asthma to go along with it, and feel all uot of it and strange. And that lasts several weks. I just really can't seem to bounce back to great health very quickly anymore.

I can't honestly even remember the last time I felt 100%, but honestly I'm sure mental stress has alot to do with it. I've had ALOT since I was 19, and I do mean ALOT, so perhaps that caught up with me?

Even if your stress levels subside and disappear, can the effects be cumulative or take years to show?

That's about the only factor, oh that and I've been very bad sexually. Extremely active and had different partners.

Can that damage your overall health, aside from stds? I was safe of course.

- Well, it can cause an emotional conflict, which always has away of bringing people down.

To correct what is going on with you, eat right and get active.
