Concerned about health as in weight ect [teen girl]?

Ive given some serious thought to anorexia and bulimia, even though i think it is completely wrong.

I am fourteen soon to be fifteen and am around 5ft 3.5"
I weigh ten whole stone though people say it doesn't look it.

When I look at my reflection, or see all the slim, pretty people around me i feel sick because i feel really quite fat to be honest. Its really been getting me down recently and I was wondering if there was any kind of sensible advise to give me or something? Perhaps on how to lose weight without having to spend too much time [99% is spent on coursework] and without strictly dieting?

I wish i was you : )
I weigh 6 stone I'm nearly sixteen and am a size 4 UK believe me you don't ever want to get that size.Number one it's unhealthy,Number two you can't find clothes that fit you.Number three you start feeling depressed and it's allot harder putting on weight when your anorexic than taking it off.
Just don't worry about it.You are doing fine......and if you really want to loos a bit of wait then eat little and often with high energy and healthy snacks like nuts raisins, salad, fruit, yogurt, steamed ,vegetables, fish
but seriously i wouldn't worry about it right now i have some friends that are now 18 they used to be ur size when they were your age and they have grown up slimmed and got nice and curvy.....my advice you've got lots of time wait it out

Take it from me an eating disorder will ruin your life. It takes over and distorts your perceptions, it is cruel and doesn't care about coursework, friends, family and it especially despises you! Please dont be sucked in by those voices in your head, you are still so young and have a lot of growing left to do, just stay active eat sensibly and enjoy being young, and study hard. lecture over.

DON'T DO IT.
I don't wish to scream but you must not begin on such a destructive and dangerous course of action.

Anorexia and bulimia nervosa are both life threatening psychological illnesses.

If you really want to loose weight, talk to your doctor about a sensible dieting regimen.

As an example of what you might try, cut down on sugar and sugar related items (don't stop altogether).
Eat smaller portions - maybe much smaller but then instead of 3 meals, make it 5 or six times that you eat.
Eat fruit instead of "snacking".
If you set a weight goal, be sure to set a sensible goal (not 6 stone...) and when you reach your goal, STOP. There comes a point where your body is in balance - you eat enough, you exercise enough and you have enough energy.
When you are overweight, you often eat too much, don't exercise enough and have a shortage of energy.
When you are underweight, you eat too little, exercise way too much and still have a shortage of energy. Only this time, that little reserve that the body does have, gets used up too. Your periods will stop - with no guarantee that they will ever restart; your fat reserves will waste away and you will end up developing downy hair all over your body to compensate; your emotions will ebb away to nothing; other major organs in the body start to degrade (renal failure leading to a heart attack is not uncommon in anorexia patients).

Dieting does not have to be strict - just sensible. Eat well. And for goodness sake, eat enough.

Maybe you should just aim to keep your weight stable for the time being - you are after all in the middle of puberty and that is doing all sorts of things to your body which will sort themselves out in a couple of years.

I wish you every success.
