Health insurance for teens? |
Are teens automatically bumped from a parent's health insurance plan upon reaching the age of 18? most plans will keep the 18 year old on the parents plan as long as they are in school. high school or college. Depends on the plan the parents have. Most will allow the child to remain on the parent's policy until 21-22 as long as they are taking a full schedule of college classes. If not, then the teen needs to get a job with benefits. I don't get kicked off until 25. Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Georgia |
