Are the health benafits of wine good for teens aswell?

It is said Wine, especially Red Wine can help you keep a healthy heart, healthy bones, healthy arteries, and keep risk of cancer, heart attack, etc. down, is this true for ages as low as 15 if its only one glass each night or every other night?

Uh, no. For one thing, your body can't process the alcohol as well. Also, you can get benefits that are just as good by drinking either concord grape juice or 100% pomegranate juice. Welch's has a great organic concord grape juice and in the organic/natural section of your grocery store, you can find a pomegranate juice that is 100% as well as unsweetened. It's good! Either of those will give you great benefits. According to Doctor Oz (author of You an owner's manual), you need to eat garlic, tomato sauce (10 Tbs), spinach, olive oil, salmon and pomegranate juice at least once a week for health benefits. Good luck! Way to be proactive!

No. Drinking alcohol during the formative teen years can hinder brain development. Your body is still growing and developing. Binge drinking can lead to cognitive problems. It can also lead to behavioral and emotional problems. There are other ways to get the benefits of antioxidants, by eating grapes, tomatoes, and fresh fruits and veggies. Hold off a few more years.

Another tidbit- The study further revealed that adolescent alcohol users -- regardless of whether they are heavy, binge, or light drinkers -- report they are more likely to use illicit drugs than non-drinkers.

These health benefits are purely specualtion and I would suspect that they are based on near falsified data. If you are really looking for health benfits, get your essential fatty acids for a healthy heart and arteries, eat fiber and antioxidants to reduce your risk of cancer and drink 3 glasses of milk a day for great bones.
