Teen Diet Plan?

I'm fifteen years & nine months old, 5'1 and about 110-115 lbs (depending on the time of day). I usually exercise daily in the form of DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) doing fast paced steps, 30 minutes total body express DVD, or both. The problem is I have bad eating habits. I'll eat a good breakfast, but I'll skip lunch, eat dinner, and snack until I go to bed.

I want to know if anybody would know of an ideal dieting plan for me? I see a lot of diets out there, but they're all targeted around adults.. and I'm only fifteen. I don't like eating school lunches because I believe they're fattening, so I usually skip lunch.

If you have any idea, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm not allergic to any foods that I'm aware of, I'm not diabetic and do not have any other health problems. Blood pressure's normal and all.. well, actually, it's usually kinda low.

I want to shed a few lbs and just exercising isn't working.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks !

dont skip meals, thats worse for you. eat smaller portions more often in the day (if you cant eat a lot during school, pack something like granola bars in your locker)

i know some people say DDR works well, but tha isnt enough. walk or jog daily, and do some crunches, push ups, and basic aerobics.

for lunch, try packing salads. drink lots of water, cut out as much sugar as you can. normally, i say natural sugars are fine as long as there not too high. if you have salad dressing, dip your fork in the dressing, then pick up the salad. dont just dump the dressing on the salad.

eat as much protein as you can. protein fills you up instead of carbs doing that, and it helps increase metabolism, which will help you lose weight easier.

Well cut out refined sugar, and only drink water and freshly squeezed juice. Also avoid fried foods, and anything with high fructose corn syrup (as it slows your metabolism).
I suggest you look at ingredients BEFORE calories.

I think you diet seems to be fine.

HOWEVER!

I'd say eat some lunch. I usually go for subway because it's somewhat fast food but it's still healthy. Other than that, I think it's fine.

i don't think you should worry about the dieting part very much, skipping lunch is actually worse for your metabolism, therefore could cause you to add pounds.eat a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.as for snacks,if you are worried about it choose healthy snacks, exercise regularly, and make sure you allow yourself a little indulgence once in a while =) being healthy is no fun unless you can reward yourself every once in awhile

kay eat a packed lunch. what I have is a pbandj sandwich or meat and cheese (with mustard not mayo) on white or wheat. then fruit - apples, grapes, pineapple. then something extra so Im full for longer. nuts or trail mix. also, you need to exercise CARDIO - your heart rate is up - at least 30 minutes a day if you want to lose weight. running is best, but walking works too.
