I'm 18, and I have suffered with chronic testicular pain for about 4 years on and off. I have been to several specialists and they have all found no problem, however I have not had an ultrasound scan.
I've noticed that my spermatic cord on the left is much bigger than the right, my question is on a rough estimate how thick should it actually be?
One more point to add is that do general problems to do with the testes affect testosterone levels or the physical development through the teen years
Thanks Just to point out, I would estimate that mine on average is about 5 - 6 mm, would this be a cause for concern? The spermatic cord should be about 1.5 millmeters in diameter. The fact that they are different sizes is of concern and should be further investigated. Does your doctor you have the larger cord? Sperm production is directly related to testosterone and the testes you should get a ultrascan. |
