Can tattoos mess with the body's Chi?

For several years, I have had two small tattoos, both on the left side of my body; one is on my inner wrist, and one is on my inner ankle. It seems like since I've had these tats, bad stuff only happens to the right side (w/o tats) of my body. My right foot has been swollen, huge bruises, cuts, etc. Now, I do realize because I am right handed I prob favor the right side; thus, I have a better chance of being injured on that side. But let's get metaphysical here...do you think I've upset the balance? Should I get a tattoo on my right side?
Please don't tell me that it is wrong to get tattoos...it's my option...please just answer the question directly.
Thanks.

do you practice circling your chi? try sitting with your feet together and your hands over your feet. this should help your chi flow from limb to limb and even out. there are several positions that increase the flow. the standard lotus is based on centering your chi. you might want to find a teacher to help you balance your chi if you think it is out of alignment.

The tattoos might effect your chi but getting more tattoos wouldn't necessarily help or hinder. chi is in constant motion. the tattoos could draw more chi to those limbs or act as barriers. there are postures to allow more chi in and out -- you don't need tattoos. by circling your limbs you keep chi running through your body. the lotus position is designed so chi can still enter through your feet and hands but then circles throughout evenly. i think maintaining this balance constantly is impossible. but im not a chi master so you might want to consult one.

hope this wasn't too rambling.

Tattos are not good for the soul, you should keep you body clean.

Interesting question. Maybe. But maybe the answer is to have the 2 you have removed rather than adding to the collection. Did you used to get bruises etc before the tattoos or is this a recent development? Do you need to get your eyes checked to make sure that you don't just need glasses?
