Tattoos???

My cousin and I we're bored this weekend so we took pin needles and put a heart on the inside of our left ankles. As soon as it started bleeding a little,my cousin put computer ink over it. Neither of our parents know,we're going to hide them as long as possible. I wear jeans all the time so my mom wont know until spring or summer.
How long do you think it will take to heal?
Mine is infected just a little bit so I've been using peroxide and nerasporan on it and keeping it covered with a bandaid. Is there anything else that might help?

Cuz its a little red and its sore. I dont think I'm gonna get it covered when I'm older because I didnt really want a tattoo. We just got bored

Tattoos should only take a few weeks to a month to heal.
By using the unsterile pin needles you guys are in huge risk for an infection (as you say you have) and hepatitis.
Quite using peroxide, and neosporin. They won't do your tattoo any good.
Why do you think it's infected?

If it is go see a doctor. Your mom will find out, but it's better to get antibiotics and let your mom find out then having the tattoo infection kill you. You don't want your mom to find out that way.

I did the same thing but with pen ink. Then it turned into a scab and when the scab fell of the ink did too.

sorry kids, but you have to see a DR. best to tell your parents NOW. tell them you know what you did was very stupid. what ever punishment you receive, be glad you are alive to take your punishment.

Heh, well if you want to keep it stop using all the crazy stuff on it like peroxide and neosporin. Second, it will heal faster with no bandaide on it. Basically clean it up, and keep it aired out and you should be ok. Most likely since it was a home job you will get it covered later anyway, so dont worry too much.

Sorry there Kiddo's, but your technology is all wrong and they won't turn out to be tattoos..you did it wrong, not to mention not knowing how to even sterilize properly even for a home job!! You've placed yourselves at risk for a number of infections, a few deadly...like Hepatitis..or MRSA, which by the way is on the move and mutating with even more complications, Did you know MRSA alone is a Killer??? You both need to be seen and evaluated, especially with infections setting in...You need to tell your parents NOW!!

So THINK, before you really get SICK..do you even know about the toxins in the inks? Go tell Mom Now~She was once a kid too Hun!

Nothing can be a little infected. You need to tell your mom and she needs to take you to the doctor. You don't want any the infections that you can get from unclean pins and computer ink (wow).
You could get a staph, mrsa(which is a staph infection that can't be treated with normal antibiotics), you can get skin dermatitis too. These infections can make your whole body sick.

In the news:
Three people in Ohio have already contracted a potentially life-threatening skin infection from homemade tattoos consisting of such dangerous components as, printer ink and unsanitary conditions. This skin infection is impervious to antibiotics and can lead to serious illness, as well as being contagious from one person to the next via physical contact.

Even if you don't live anywhere near Ohio, this should serve as a warning to anyone who gets the idea to give themself or their friends a tattoo. This is not just like drawing on someone's skin with a marker. It has to be done with proper equipment in a proper environment or people can get really sick!

Well first and foremost, you are a complete idiot.

Second, no crap it's infected. Pins and printer ink? If you don't treat your infection NOW it could get a whole lot worse. You said you poured it onto the wound when it was bleeding... hello? Blood poisoning? You can DIE from that. And it can take a long time too. If it's already infected, thats an extremely bad sign. Go see a doctor.

Boy I use to do some dumb things too, if it gets to infected go to the Dr, your folks will be mad if it gets way out there.
