What are some side affects to long term Band aid and Bandage use to cover up tattoos?

I have a tattoo on both of my legs and recently it has been an issue. At work- we have a policy that no tattoos can be shown. Now I wear an Ace bandage around my legs to cover them. But recently my legs begin to cramp sometimes and it's has begun to hurt. So now we are going to try to use band aids.

I want to know of any issues and problems I can run into by doing either long term.

They ace bandage is too tight therefore constricting the blood to your legs. No good, you can get blood clots.
Band aids will eventually leave those dirty lines and your skin may become red and bothersome.

I would suggest the modeling make up Dermablend. It's expensive but it doesn't take much.

When I was a dancer we had a few girls that used that to cover up their tats. The managers said too many looked trashy and that's not what his club was about.

You should be able to get that makeup at one of the Mall counters.
