About body peircings&tattoos:?

okay, what are some of the bad things that happen when you get a peircing? like cna you really bleed to death from getting your tounge peirced? my mom said it lol. i think she's lying. and what's so bad about getting your lip peirced? oh and is it safe to do a tattoo your self? like with ink pin ink and a needle? cause pete wentz of fall out boy did it.. so i was just wondering.. stupid questions i know but oh well.

yes you can bleed to death from getting your tongue peirced. There's a pretty big vein in there that you if you hit it it can cause alot of bleeding that could cause death.
Getting your lip frickin hurts. Got my done when i was 18. Then after a while of messing with it it can rip the hole and start to look really nasty. I took mine out after a year and still have a huge ugly hole there (it's been 4 years!!)
Tattooing yourself with ink from a pen is a bad idea. You don't know what is in that ink and if it gets in your blood stream it could cause serious damage.

I have had my tongue pierced twice and it never bled not once. As for doing a tattoo yourself, I would never even consider it.

Self tatoos are safe if you do it safely and yes you can bleed to death from a tounge peircing BUT if you go to a professional then theyll probaly get it right and youll get to a hospital b4 u die. Are either of these things dangerous? One in a million is anything bad going to happen ^_^

I know your lip could easily get infected when pierced and tongue piercings are very painful and cause swelling of your tongue. As for tatooing yourself, my husband did this years ago with indian ink. Self tatoos never look good and could cause blood poisoning.

I don't think its a good idea to tattoo yourself. Have a professional do just make sure what ever they use is sterile. I have heard that it is true that you can bleed a lot if your tounge is peirced in the wrong place. There is nothing wrong with getting your lip peirced. Go to a clean place with people who know what they are doing!!

piercing body parts is not so good, get it done by a doctor preferably surgeon, if not beware of AIDS

if you do a tattoo yourself, you're guaranteed to screw it up. remember you've gotta live with it the rest of your life. spend the money and have a pro do it. and with the tongue piercing, i've got mine pierced and it didnt even bleed. the main worry about that is if you have an inexperienced piercer and they hit that major vein going through your tongue.
