Tanning bed then laying out?

I went to a tanning bed yesterday and i want to keep my tan or atleast some of it..im outside every day but if i also lay out an tan say this weekend..would that preserve my tan from the tanning bed or is the tanning bed tan destined to fade eventually?

i dont mean to be rude but i ment to say please dont give me the whole skin cancer thing

Tanning outside is the best thing you can do to perserve your tan! I found that a sun tan lasts much longer than a tanning bed tan, and it's easier to sun tan after you tanned in a bed. So, if you lay out you will get some nice color and it should last a little longer. Enjoy! Watch out for that cancer! ( lol j/k )

Tanning beds and the sun can set you up for skin cancer in years to come. It's better to buy some of the spray on tan solutions that are out there (that's another question as to which one is best).

You can lay out, just not the same day. It will eventually fade like any tan will. You will need to go to the tanning bed at least once a week to maintain the color you want. For example, I am going 3 times a week but once I get to the color I want I will go once a week.

I used to work in a tanning salon. If you are going tanning on a regular basis, than you should not be tanning outside as well. That is too much sun exposure for your sun.

All tans will fade regardless of where you got them.
