Tachycardia problem? |
i have tachycardia one day when i was 13 i bent over and all of a sudden my heartbeat jumped to 250 beats per minute and i fainted and went to the hospital doctor gave me beta blocker and said i shouldnt worry about it when i run out of medicine but now i have ran out of it for about 5 months and every 3-4 weeks all of a sudden i get a tachy cardia attack and my heat beats im light headed cant move at all and it last for 45 mins then wares off. and i havnt been taking medicine for 5 months now im getting more chest pain everyday more tachycardia attacks my left arm aches , and my heart will hurt . should i be worried and go back to see my doctor? GO GET A SECOND OPINION. That is not normal!!!! Absolutely!!! Get on the phone the minute the doctor office opens up. Be sure to tell him you haven't been taking your meds. Your heart is working 4 times harder than it should be....and you are way to young to be having this problem without someone monitoring you. yes you should be worried and yes you should go back. If you have an episode of this have someone drive you to the ER. Also make a DR's appointment. anything that is abnormal with your heart is a serious problem.if you are still having symptoms you need to go to doctor immediatley...and i think i would go to a different doctor... better to see your doctor because your left arm pain is a sign of angina pectoris where it is a an impending sign of heart attack.... Please make a doctor's appointment. If you can't get one immediately, as soon as the chest pains and left arm aches start GO TO THE ER. |
