SVT Tachycardia What is it? |
Is it common for a 30 year old to have fast pulse/heart beat, tiredness while just sitting infront of the comptuer, and weighing 140 pounds, to end up having SVT Tachycardia? My daughter has SVT and shes had it since she was 10 and she is now 13. She is going to have the operation in February.It is not your age or your weight that causes SVT.It is that you have a small hole on your heart that at time will circulate the heart rhythm much faster .I was wondering how long your episodes last ? There are several well-known syndromes and anatomic peculiarities that predispose to SVT, and if it's frequent and bothersome enough you might eventually wind up needing the services of a cardiologist who specializes in electrophysiology, but for the most part it tends to be an occasional and relatively minor annoyance with fairly straightforward treatment. |
