When will a tbi patient come out of coma?

TBI = traumatic brain injury?

It would depend on the nature and severity of the injury. If a person had extensive injury, they could die or be permanently comatose. Lesser injuries like concussions may not cause a coma at all. Sometimes coma is induced with the intent of reducing the damage associated with brain swelling.
