My TB shot is swollen? |
I just got my TB shot today and it selled a little , but then went away. I might of scratched it on something, or itched it.It is about an inch long, cenimeter wide, and red. I washed my hands then washed it off, I think its starting to go down. What should I do? It possible that you are allergic to the test itself. Don't worry about it. It should be gone by tomorrow. Some irritation should be expected. You just got an irritating fluid injected into you. What do you expect? Bunnies and rainbows? Do nothing. You will go back to have it read in two days. If it is still swollen you may be asked to have a chest x-ray to rule out TB exposure. More than likely just an immediate reaction to the injection. |
