TB shot??!?!?!?

What is the EXACT procedure for the TB (tuburclulosis) shot. Ive heard about 3 different stories, but I'm not sure which to believe or what to expect for my shot next week. Its required for my job :( Also, does it hurt?

First they put on gloves, then wipe your forearm with an alcohol swab. let dry. the needle goes slightly under the skin, just enough where you can see the bevel (tip), injection should result in a little "bubble" on skin of the fluid. It does not hurt unless your a wuss! then you got to go back 2 days later so they can check it. if its red then you have to go get a x-ray of your chest. GOOD LUCK!!

it doesnt hurt. when i took mine, i it was like wateva. its the same procedure as any old shot.

it is doesn't hurt. if your positive for the test, that means that you are infected and you can get better by taking medication for three months. if you are negative for the test, you don't have to take medication.

No it does not hurt, and it is not actually a shot. All they do is take a very fine needle[size of a small sewing needle]and they inject a small amount of fluid under your skin of your forearm.You will then go back for the results in two days,where they will look at your arm.
