is it a rare disease or not?

whom so ever answers last 5 ques..
, will definately get 10 points from my side.

Maybe it was passed to you at birth from your mom, that can happen. Or:

"On rare occasions, syphilis enters the body through openings in the skin, such as cuts and scrapes, or even through wet kisses, if the infected person has a sore on the mouth or lips. Syphilis may also be transmitted by using a needle previously used by an infected person. Syphilis can be transmitted through a blood transfusion, but this is very rare because all donated blood in the United States and Canada is screened for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and syphilis bacteria cannot survive more than 24 to 48 hours in blood stored using modern blood-banking methods."

Doesn't sound like you have syphilis. Go get yourself checked out. Penicillin would cure it if you actually did have it.

what you are describing does not sound like syphilis as it is sexually transmitted. also, syphilis is NOT treated with a 5 day treatment or with an operation. i cant go for your 10 points because there has been some miscommunication somewhere here. you have the wrong disease

Syphilis, a sexually transmitted disease (STD), can be infected, not necessarily through sexual intercourse, but by dirty or filthy toilet seats which are already soiled with the dreadful disease.
The conditions must be favourable for this disease to infect the
person by physical contact.
Fortunately, syphilis can be cured by the taking the right types of
drugs prescribed by a competent doctor or pharmacist. It is
caused by a type of bacterium (treponema pallidum) and usually
it enters the body through mucous membranes. An infected
person can pass the disease to others (is contagious) whenever
a sore or rash is present. It is in the secondary stage when a
skin rash with itching and other symptoms occur which begins
4 to 10 weeks after initial infection. Also, it is highly contagious
at this stage - make sure not to have any physical contact.
If it is properly treated with the right type of drugs, it shouldn't
recur.
Syphilis is not rare, but a common disease of the sexual kind.

Does not sound like syphilis.
did your doctor tell you about the stage of the disease?
